i will no longer comment, i was merely advising that you get a more cushioned seat for your own safety in the future (just because it hasn't happened doesnt mean it won't happen), and you started another pointless PB argument. kthanksbai

if you actually ride hard then you are bound to take a hard hit on your seat sooner or later, but i guess if you never land harder on your seat than slipping off the pedals then you won't need anything more cushioned. cheers

slipping a pedal is nothing like having all your weight collapse on the seat from a drop, just my suggestion... if i had that bike id make sure my seat was well padded, you can still go light and comfy with the pivotal, plastic is just meant for bmx'ers who never sit

yea plastic pivotal on a fully... *shudder* just imagine going off a drop and landing hard and you collapse onto the seat from impact.... not gonna feel too great =S, for your own safety and health i really suggest you get a well padded pivotal seat

is it down by the driveside chainstay? or where exactly? just wondering cuz the build itself looks pretty dialled, but will be even nicer with a dob frame

yea he'd get a pogo and spend a couple g's so that he can get it lighter than yours, and then post it hundreds of times on every thread so he could get more e-props than you

drill it to sh*t and get a carbon stick and you could save like 2grams, would be hella light and everyone would give you e-props

oh man there are so many tires out there, hard to say. you mainly ride street? maybe some tioga FS100's, or continental race kings.... lots more out there that can save you some weight though. oh man you got the old macniel with the f*cked up shape? that sucks. as for cranks id say keep the deity's until something goes wrong with them because its not worth spending 200 bucks if you already have nice cranks. wait until they are no longer useable

haha ok maybe not a LOT of places to lose weight, but lots of little things. tires, stem, seat/post, ti spindle (unless you got one in there already), cranks, another few grams with different pedals. really no need to change anything up right now though looks prime, except maybe the seat/post

wow thats impressive seeing as there is still tons of places where weight can be lost, and im sure its a super strong build! enjoy the ride!
